It’s the holiday season. That means entertaining. It means getting everyone into the spirit. But unless you’re planning on celebrating by roasting chestnuts on an open fire in the woods somewhere, it also means getting your home ready for a celebration. Home maintenance is important at all times of year, and a healthy home is a merry home.
Spreading holiday cheer starts in the home. Make it as cheerful and bright as possible. Sure, that incorporates decorations. But, before decking your halls with boughs of holly, make sure those walls are scrubbed clean, that the floors are cleared of anything that may prove obstacles to your eggnog-drinking guests.
